Deployment methods
Cloud
Our cloud installation is the easiest way to get started. Uses third party models and infrastructure. Suitable for teams on a budget that move fast and primarily search public information or non-sensitive data.
EU Cloud with self-hosted LLMs
All services hosted in the EU, using EU companies with focus on compliance, GDPR and privacy. Compliant EU LLMs where your conversations are not used to train models. Files encrypted during transfer and at rest.
On premise / your cloud
A custom installation on your premise. Uses private, self-hosted models for document parsing as well as LLM features - without leaving your network.
Your data is your data.
Your documents are encrypted during transfer and at rest. You have full control over your documents and can delete them at any time.
Conversation are kept private. User's can confidently chat without exposing data to third parties. Our models are isolated on a per customer-bases and are never trained on your data, unless you ask us to.
Protecting users
Users authenticate to Lens using modern principles.
We don't use passwords. Instead, we use one time codes via email or SMS. 2FA available.

Nightly backups for all your data. Point in time recovery (PITR) available on request.
Cloud Act
Lens can store your data within the EU and exclusively use European providers. This means your data is strictly protected from the U.S. Cloud Act.
GDPR
All data processing can be fully contained within the EU, using only European infrastructure and providers. Of course, this includes both data contained in document you provide, as well as chat by your users. No data is shared without consent, and no information is used for training models.
